Change is slow. Change is deliberate. Change is not easy. Slowly but surely, the wheels of change start turning, revealing the first glimpse of a new order. And of outcomes most desired. So, until changes can be sustained, we worked towards deepening our efforts to ensure a more robust and long-lasting impact. To continuing and establishing this trance Bankim Behari Teachers’ Training Institute (BBTTI) started functioning from May, 2016. The institute is situated at Markandachak in Sabong block within the district of Paschim Medinipur. There is an impression of serenity in the place where the institute is located. Its proximity to the most glamorous natural beauties pleasant presence of river Kaliaghai makes it an ideal place for learning and holistic exploration of future ambitions. The institution has an extended hinterland from over which thousands of trainees may avail themselves to the opportunity of receiving modern education from ever budding centre of higher education. The institute offers a clean, happy and safe atmosphere along with modern facilities and educational technology within a traditional Indian cultural and moral framework. The institution is recognized by National Council of Teachers’ Education (NCTE) and affiliated to West Bengal University of Teachers’ Training Education Planning and Administration (WBUTTEPA) and West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE). The institute is a composite unit with 2 years B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. course.
So, it is my pleasure to present the Bankim Behari Teachers’ Training Institute (BBTTI) for serving the quality education among would be teachers as well as society also. Drawing on deep wells of institutional strength, our faculty is building what’s next. They are leading in defining new ways of teaching, collaborating, and creating knowledge that will open new opportunities for us and our students.
The essence of Bankim Behari Teachers’ Training Institute (BBTTI) is quality education, which plays a significant and remedial role in balancing the socio-economic fabric of its society. Since teachers of our society are most valuable resource, our billion-strong nation needs the nurture and care in the form of basic education to achieve a better quality of life. I continue to be amazed by the seemingly limitless energy and ideas of our extraordinary faculty, staff and students. I am proud of all we have been able to accomplish together and look forward to all the advances sure to come in the new academic year.
